for for Clarinet in B-flat, Horn in F and Piano (2004)
Duration : ca. 8 mins.
I think about the breaks (‘snapping’ : do you understand?) of and the connection between two different motives as I compose. In doing so, now I try to make the connection between two different motives more natural and more fitting. Crumbs of motives come into being by turns, and they are developed and changed little by little. It depends on numbers, but sometimes it was written irregular thoughts. This work can be divided in four movements. One of these blocks is expressed by two instruments. The harmonic interval between the one instrument and the other one is used in the last movement, but that is more rhythmical. Suddenly the espressivo Horn solo comes in second movement, and in the third movement, canon melodies will come for all the instruments from the start.
